At the game ... Section 302 ...

In the 9th inning, I con'd Rich & Peter into a moment of "rally caps" :-)

... also, notice anything odd about the guy in the white shirt behind Rich? :-)

I think the rally caps were lucky for The Hammer (Paul McAnulty), as he got his first big league hit right then and there!

After the Feed ...

After the Feed, I hung around and visited with Dave Pease (http://www.baseballprospectus.com/news/?author=28, whom I've v/e-known since rec.sport.baseball and padres-mailing-list days in the 80's!), Padres' analyst Chris Long (whom I think we should lobby to be a guest speaker at a future Feed), and Paul Swydan (who works for the Rockies and also for BP, and was heavily involved in the Pizza Feed logistics, THANKS Paul!).

At Petco ... in "the auditorium" ...

Once we found "the auditorium" (NO ONE knew where it was) ... it was a good time to mingle a bit as fans wandered in ...

This is a friend of Jeff, Jeff, and Geoff ... hey "friend of Jeff", sorry I forgot your name, leave a comment and let us know ... btw, Jeff's Padre jersey had "Greene"s name on the back, so he said his hat was just to match :-)

Sandy Alderson did quite a bit of mingling ... this is Lance & Geoff catching him a bit off guard ... Sandy did have his eyes open most of the time ...

Here's what the auditorium looked like ... you can see Alderson standing about where KT talked from ... next year, I'll ask that they crank up his microphone/speaker a bit ... that's my ONLY nitpic ...
